You are invited to a showing of the award-winning film, Fourteen Days in May, at 7.30pm on Monday 28th November 2011 at United Free Church in Framlingham.
This documentary film tells the true story of the countdown to an execution.
Edward Earl Johnson was put to death in the gas chamber of Mississippi's state penitentiary in May 1987. Convicted of the murder of a white police officer, Edward protested his innocence until his death.
Reprieve's Chairman Paul Hamann produced and directed the film, for which he received the BFI's Grierson Award.
Clive Stafford Smith, Reprieve's Legal Director, represented Edward on his final appeals and fought to save his life up to the moment of his execution.
